Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Termite Control in Athens, OH

Professional Termite Control technician working in Athens, OH

Licensed Termite Inspectors

Our inspectors hold state wood-destroying organism (WDO) licensing and produce documentation accepted for real estate transactions.

Rapid Scheduling for Active Infestations

Swarms or mud tubes get priority scheduling — we know active subterranean colonies cause damage every day they go untreated.

Transparent Treatment Pricing

You'll see the full cost of liquid termiticide or bait station installation before we start — priced by linear foot of foundation, not guesswork.

Professional-Grade Treatment Systems

We install non-repellent liquid termiticide barriers and in-ground bait stations, backed by moisture meters and acoustic detection tools. Beyond the treatment itself, you'll get a documented moisture assessment, since damp foundation zones are usually the first areas termites return to.

Service Solutions

Termite Control in Athens, OH: Comprehensive Solutions

Subterranean Termite Barrier Treatment

Non-repellent liquid termiticide applied along the foundation perimeter, engineered to eliminate the colony through contact transfer.

In-Ground Bait Station Systems

Bait stations give ongoing colony-level monitoring, useful for properties where liquid trenching isn't practical.

Drywood Termite Spot & Structural Treatment

Localized injection and, when needed, structural fumigation for drywood termites living inside wood members rather than the soil.

WDO Inspection Reports for Real Estate

We provide official wood-destroying organism reports that satisfy real estate closing and refinance requirements.

Termite Damage Assessment & Repair Referral

Beyond treatment, we assess joist, sill plate, and subfloor damage so you know the full scope before repairs begin.

Pre-Construction & New Build Soil Treatment

Termiticide soil treatment applied before slab pour, protecting new construction from day one. Every crew also carries backup moisture meters, since accurate readings are what separate a real diagnosis from a guess.

FAQ

Termite Control Questions From Athens Customers

Trusted Termite Control service in Athens, OH - Nex Pest Control

Subterranean colonies need ground moisture and build visible mud tubes, while drywood colonies nest directly inside dry wood members.

Pricing is based on linear feet of foundation and treatment type — we provide an exact written quote after inspection, not a phone estimate.

Most lenders and many state real estate transactions require a current WDO inspection report — we can turn documentation around on your closing timeline.

Modern termiticide treatments are designed for long-term colony elimination, generally backed by a multi-year warranty.

DIY treatments often scatter the colony instead of eliminating it, which complicates professional treatment down the line.

Swarmers are reproductive termites leaving a mature colony to start new ones — seeing a swarm usually means an established colony is nearby. We recommend a yearly check-in after initial treatment, since soil grading and mulch buildup around a foundation can change year to year.
